How to Run a One-Week AI Research Tool Pilot
A one-week pilot compares two AI research tools on your own questions, using the same brief, the same deadline and the same scoring rules. Pick questions whose answers you already know, count how many figures trace to a source, and score the time each tool costs you to check. Vendor benchmarks, including ours, are one data point, not a substitute for your own test.

AI market research tools use three pricing models: per seat, per report or credit, and per enterprise contract. Self-serve plans publish list prices, such as Claude Pro at $20 a month. Most enterprise tools publish none. Third-party contract data suggests annual costs in the tens of thousands of dollars for some of them, but those figures are estimates, not quotes.
